KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER AL-FARABI

The Department of Political Science and Political Technologies combines successful teaching and research since 1991. 

The Department of Political Science and Political Technologies trains Bachelor, Master’s and Doctoral students of the specialties ‘5B050200’, ‘6M050200’, ‘6D050200 - Political Science’, as well as provides teaching of the course ‘Political Science’ as the cycle of general education at the humanitarian and natural faculties of Al-Farabi KazNU in Kazakh, Russian and English languages.

In recent years, the department has developed and introduced into the educational process the new educational programs: 6B03106-Political Science (Bachelor program); 7M03110 - Political Science, 7M03108 - Conflictology, 7M03107 - Public Administration and Public Security (Master’s programs), 8D03104 - Political Science, 8D03103 - Conflictology (Doctoral programs).
