TALLINNA TEHNIKAÜLIKOOL

Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) was established in 1918 and is a public university, providing higher education at all levels in engineering and technology, information technology, economics, science, and maritime. TalTech’s mission is to be a promoter of science, technology, and innovation and a leading provider of engineering and economic education in Estonia. TalTech is one of the most recognised and largest universities in Estonia with 10,000 student, more than 2,000 employees, including 1,200 teachers and research staff. TalTech has the highest number of foreign students (16%) and lecturers (17%) compared to Estonian universities. Compared to other Estonian universities, TalTech has taken the most vigorous steps to attract top researchers. We also work on a daily basis with universities and research institutions around the world. TalTech currently has 55 Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe running projects. TalTech is the only university in Estonia that has everything, from a residential hall to dormitories on a compact campus, state-of-the-art laboratories, a modern library, a business centre, an active student house, sports hall, a number of restaurants, and numerous student organisations.


TalTech Law School (TLS) is a department at TalTech where strong focus is on social aspects of digital technologies, offering academic programmess and conducting high-impact research in fields, such as technology governance and digital transformation, public sector innovation and e-governance, and law and technology.
